Performance advertisers comprise the bulk of Mobile Dev Memo’s audience. I have spent my career in roles spanning analytics, strategy, and performance marketing / user acquisition at consumer technology companies, and I have a specific perspective on privacy as a result. While I spend a significant amount of time thinking about these issues in a holistic way, I can’t escape my inherent biases and predilections. Intellectual blind spots are an inescapable part of life.
For this reason, I’m inviting content submissions on the topic of digital privacy that represent perspectives that differ from my own and have not been given purchase on Mobile Dev Memo. If you have a viewpoint on privacy that contrasts with those that have been published here, or a particular lens through which you view the rapidly changing privacy landscape that does not map to the “consumer tech operator” mindset, I’d love to hear from you. Submissions should be at least 700 words and no more than 2,000 words.
I will put priority on submissions that articulate well-reasoned arguments that aren’t typically acknowledged by performance marketers or consumer tech advocates and employees.
