One of my favorite things to buy at Trader Joe’s for the holiday is the Chocolate Passport. It’s eight chocolate bars, each from a different country, and I genuinely look forward to testing it out with friends and family when we gather. Today, Amazon gave me a weird choice. I could order a two-pack of my Chocolate Passport instead of picking it up the next time I was in the store, or I could spend nearly the exact same amount of money on a full Fire tablet to download movies on before I fly to visit family next week.

Prime Day and Black Friday are usually the best two times of the year to buy Amazon’s hardware for its cheapest pricing, but that’s not the case this year. Both of those times have already passed, but the best deal has actually just arrived — as long as you don’t mind buying two of them. During Black Friday we saw the Fire 7 drop down to $35, but with the code 2SAVE10 you can get each of them for just $30.
There are a bunch of other Fire tablet deals as well, like the Fire HD 8 for $55, Fire HD 10 for $100 and more. Several of these are also eligible for the additional discount using the code 2SAVE10 and if you have an older Fire tablet lying around you could trade it in for an extra 20% discount.
We’re not sure how long these discounts will last, so if you’re interested in picking one of these up you should do so sooner rather than later.
