In May 2023, Kyiv will host “Talents on AI,” a three-day AI Hackathon organized by deFX, a community that launched the @chat_openia_bot in January. This bot utilizes the OpenAI API, providing access to AI tools without registration, and has already processed over 200,000 requests with over 600 members in the Open AI Early Adopters Telegram group. The event aims to bring together developers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to create an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship.
According to co-organizer Stanislav Podyachev from TON AI, the hackathon provides an opportunity for both experienced professionals and beginners to showcase their skills and learn more about AI. With almost every fourth Ukrainian having lost their job as a result of the war, the hackathon also offers a chance for people to find new opportunities and adapt to the changing job market.
The hackathon will also provide a platform for collaboration between tech-savvy individuals passionate about using AI and sponsors interested in creating new ideas, products, and services. The organizers hope to attract both experienced professionals and beginners, with the event offering a chance for the latter to prove themselves. The hackathon also seeks to promote the development of local and global tech communities. Co-organizers and sponsors interested in supporting the event can contact the organizers at [email protected].
The hackathon aims to achieve three critical objectives: making useful contacts and presenting company work, headhunting for specialists among participants, and supporting the global mission of developing the AI sphere and the global/local AI communities. The organizers are eager to witness the incredible ideas and projects that will come out of the hackathon, and they invite interested parties to join them in changing the world together.
